Polycarbonate, SAN and polypropylene tumblers
The tumbler is the piece handled most often during service, and the one that breaks most. On a terrace, by the pool, at a campsite or an event, glass stops being an option: it breaks, the area has to be closed and cleared.
Here you will find polycarbonate tumblers (beer, water, cider, highball, mojito, shot), stackable SAN and polypropylene tumblers, and melamine and polypropylene cups.
Where a durable tumbler pays off
Wherever there are hard floors, standing crowds or children: terraces, pools, campsites, school canteens, events and room service. Also wherever glass is banned, which is common in sports facilities and bathing areas.
Which tumbler material to choose
Polycarbonate is the closest to glass and handles 0 °C to 100 °C. SAN is rigid and crystal clear, for cold drinks up to 60 °C. Polypropylene is lighter and more economical, microwave safe and good up to 85 °C. All of them are dishwasher safe.
Tumblers with melamine tableware, glasses and jugs
To match the melamine plates, bowls and salad bowls, the jugs and the polycarbonate glasses.
